Abstract
This study aims to examine the human resource development strategies of the administrators of Mambaul Khairat Islamic Boarding School in Ketapang Regency. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method with an exploratory approach. The subjects of this study are 13 individuals selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions using triangulation techniques to maintain validity. The research results indicate that the human resource development strategy is implemented through four main methods: training, understudy, job rotation, and coaching-counseling. These methods emphasize technical, spiritual, and character development, resulting in competent and morally upright administrators. The obstacles identified include limited time, low motivation, minimal organizational experience, limited facilities, and the influence of gadgets and social media. Supporting factors include a religious environment, exemplary caregivers, a culture of deliberation, unity among administrators, and mutual cooperation, which strengthen the success of the human resource development strategy at Mambaul Khairat pesantren.
