Main Article Content
Abstract
The mediating role of Psychological Empowerment in the relationship between High-Performance Work Systems (HPWS) and Employee Creativity was examined in this study. Using a quantitative cross-sectional design, data were collected from 50 permanent employees working in manufacturing, services, technology, finance, and creative-industry firms in Cikarang; respondents were purposively selected based on permanent status, at least one year of tenure, operational involvement, and willingness to participate. Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares was applied to assess both the measurement and structural models. Significant positive effects of HPWS on Psychological Empowerment and Employee Creativity were identified, while Employee Creativity was also enhanced by Psychological Empowerment, which partially mediated the HPWS-creativity relationship. These results indicate that integrated human-resource practices foster creative performance when meaningful work, competence, autonomy, and organizational impact are experienced by employees, thereby offering practical direction for work-system design.
