Peningkatan Keterampilan Berbicara di Depan Umum dengan Menggunakan Role Playing pada Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Moro’o

Abstract

This research is to see the improvement of public speaking skills in students at SMP Negeri 4 Moro'o, West Nias Regency by applying the role playing method. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK). This research was carried out on class VIII students at SMP Negeri 4 Moro'o in the 2023/2024 academic year. The research sample consisted of 15 students and consisted of 7 girls and 8 boys. The data sources in the research are students, teachers, and document data in the form of initial test results before the action is taken and test results after the action is taken. Based on the research results, it can be seen that there is an increase in drama playing skills in students at SMP Negeri 4 Moro'o, West Nias Regency by applying the role playing method.
